The world sounds different when we choose to listen.

I was delighted to join the Rozmowy z Oriona podcast at the invitation of the Orion Foundation. Together with Dr. Robert Losiak from the University of Wrocław’s Audiosphere Lab and Alan Grinde from the Orion Foundation, we reflected on sound, acoustic heritage, field recording, sound tourism, and the importance of listening more consciously to the world around us.

Our conversation explored how sound shapes our experience of places, why preserving disappearing soundscapes matters, and how greater awareness of our acoustic environment can help us reconnect with both nature and one another.
